Travel Finds is Selected to be Part of Hub: Make Lab!

The Hub 01+Left+Entry+from+Freds

Hub: Make Lab is an incubation space for budding start-ups, makers, and artists.

It’s, in essence, a low-risk brick and mortar for creative entrepreneurs where we can experiment on our concepts and designs in a more stable setting.

The big launch-ribbon cutting-confetti throwing will happen on May 26, 2016, Thursday! Stay tuned on what’s up!

It’s located at First United Building where the Saturday x Future Market in Escolta used to thrive!

The same people–the 98B COLLABoratory–are also behind it! + select applicants, a few of which are your favorite SxFM@E brands, + Fred Revolución(!!!), the Cubao Expo favorite for sincere drinkers will gather together to make your The Hub experience as enriching as possible.

This is still an effort to help restore Escolta, the Ayala Avenue of the Old Manila times, in its former glory, or at least to help revitalize it. This is while breeding independent small businesses and artists! You know what they say about the role of small businesses in the economy? Yep, there’s that, too!

These are reasons enough for us to put together our application on a whim, drafting 3D designs of the hub, and all! Like a much desired conspiracy,  as well, we’ve been really planning on having a brick and mortar for Travel Finds this year! So, this is an exciting time!

What’s in it for you?

A go-to place for tons of inspiration, one-of-a-kind products, and a contagious creative energy!

If you’re mainstream and mass-produced products-averse, more appreciative of limited, slow designs, The Hub is your one-stop space to stir and feed your inner hipster and boho!

1/0 Collective has imagined the Hub like nothing you’ve ever seen before!

We “are enjoined to conceptualize individual spaces with the notions of transparency, communal spirit, maker culture and interaction. An exciting addition to the blend is the presence of Fred’s Revolución: a home for sincere drinkers… merrily celebrating the legacy of Lolo Fred, born 1905.”
